EILEEN | OWNER + MASTER STYLIST
Kantor & Company owner and master stylist Eileen Kantor has been working in a salon for long as she can remember. Literally. Eileen's mother ran a salon out of her childhood home. "It was just like the salon in the movie Steel Magnolias," she says. And despite an education in interior design, Kantor found her way back to what she feels is her true calling: styling.
Since 2003, Eileen has developed her skills, studying the art of cutting at the esteemed Vidal Sassoon salon in both Los Angeles and San Francisco, and color with Aveda and Wella. She also worked at two of Boulder's top-rated salons, Pompadours and Twig, before opening Kantor & Company in 2017.
Eileen’s business model focuses on detailed consultations with every client so she can understand their specific hair type, maintenance goals, and desired look. While the cut is the foundation from which she builds each client's look, color is the complement. Eileen works with each of her clients to find the hair cut and color that will best empower her client's expression of their personal style. She matches color to skin tone and eye color with precision, which helps her achieve the exact result she is after.
In addition to Vidal Sassoon, Aveda, and Wella, Eileen has studied with experts at American Crew, Redken, Schwartzkopf, Tony and Guy, Pravana. For more than ten years, she has been an educator, training junior stylists and helping them perfect their craft. Whether you're looking for a classic cut and natural color, an edgy, off the runway look, or something in between, Eileen can't wait to see you in her chair for a consult, and to ultimately help you walk out of Kantor & Company with the hair of your dreams.
KRISTY | SALON MANAGER
Kristy comes to Kantor company with a wide range of business experience and a Finance degree from the University of Iowa. She manages our salon and takes care of business behind the scenes. While Kristy handles the business side, she also loves interacting with our clientele and loves hair and fashion. You will see her visiting with clients and also helping on the front desk from time to time. Kristy has lived in Boulder County for 17 years now and loves Colorado, but is originally from the Chicagoland area. When she is not working, she is spending time with her husband and her two daughters, often out skiing, camping, or hiking in our beautiful mountains. Kristy is passionate about helping others become their most authentic self and to help them find their own beauty so they can shine.

ANNIKA | STYLIST
Annika has been in the beauty industry since 2015, graduating with an esthetician certificate from the esthetics program at her high school. A year later she obtained her Colorado esthetician license and began working at facial bars and waxing studios in the Boulder area. She then returned to cosmetology school in 2017 to obtain her cosmetology license.
Since then, Annika has committed herself to continuing her education through the study of myirad styling and dying techniques. The Process of expanding her knowledge and understanding of techniques new and old is one of the most appealing things about the industry to Annika. She has explored advanced color, cutting, and extension application techniques with the guidence of leading stylists in these disciplines within the cosmetology industry. Due to her tenacious pursuit of color aplication techniques, Annika is now able to specialize in corrective color, fashion color, and lived in color for any and all hair types.
Annika has been a featured makeup artist on the cover of Veneno Magazine, as well as the head stylist for music videos, burlesque performances and high profile photography campaigns. Utilizing her acumulated knowledge and experience, she is looking forward to start working with brands she loves to create accessible educational seminars for stylists new and seasoned. Annikas difficult start in the hair world now fuels her desire to pass on her knowledge in the hope that her way of teaching will help new stylists excel when starting out in the industry.
When Annika is not in the salon or taking education classes, she is usually out going to concerts, eating her way through any town she visits, traveling, and probably visiting some hot springs with her loved ones.
RILEY | STYLIST
Riley is our newest stylist, but NOT our newest team member, for the past two years Riley had almost every position possible. You have probably seen her behind the desk, helping another stylist, working on her own clients, or taking classes at Kantor and Company Academy! She is now graduated, licensed, and ready to share her amazing skills with Boulder. Riley loves doing full blonding services, gray coverage, blending, and fun creative color services. She has grown fond of shags and layered cuts as well. Outside of the salon RIley is an avid hiker and loves taking her dog Mars on trails around Boulder. After graduating from Fairview Highschool in 2020, Riley tried out CU for a bit and eventually decided college wasn't her path and decided to pursue hair instead. She found her calling after taking a front desk position at K&CO and hasn't looked back. Riley loves traveling and plans on taking a 4 week Vidal Sasson course in London. Riley has big ambitions and the skills to take her there, she would love to take care of you on hers and your journey through hair.
TAY | STYLIST
Tay, a Boulder native, has been immersed in the world of visual arts and expression throughout her life. Her journey as an artist is evident in everything she does, transcending the realms of mere hairstyling and makeup artistry to become a fervent advocate for mindful and conscious beauty practices.
Educated at Paul Mitchell the School Denver, Tay became a licensed Cosmetologist in 2016. Further honing her skills, she earned a certification in microblading and permanent makeup services from the College of International Esthetics in 2018.
Since embarking on her beauty industry career in 2016, Tay has developed an extensive skill set. Her experience spans salon work, on-location services for weddings and events, assignments on production sets for film and photo, and nurturing her own venture, Cosmica Studio, where she specializes in natural-looking microblading and intentional hand-poke tattoos.
Tay's talent shines in creating lived-in colors, cuts, and styles that enhance the natural beauty of her clients. A maestro of textured cuts, she deeply believes in the transformative power of beauty to illuminate inner confidence. Her passion for natural hair textures is matched by her expertise in balayage and soft highlighting. Additionally, Tay loves assisting clients with everyday styling techniques, crafting boho and lived-in styles for special occasions, and creating avant-garde looks for fashion shows and photo shoots. As a makeup artist, Tay's approach is gentle and enhancing, focusing on elevating each person's natural allure. Her chair offers more than the latest trends; it's a hub of cruelty-free beauty products that reflect her ethical philosophy.
Her all-encompassing approach ensures clients look and feel their best, confident in the eco-friendly products used on their skin and hair. Michelle embarked on her hairstyling journey 14 years ago, focusing on the art of hair before venturing into entrepreneurship. After successfully owning businesses, she felt a magnetic pull back to her roots. Michelle recently obtained dual licenses in cosmetology and esthetics, seamlessly blending her business acumen with a fresh wave of creativity. Specializing in creative color and blonding, she is passionately diving into the beauty industry, eager to explore and contribute to all it has to offer.
JOHNATHAN | BARBER
From a young age, Johnathan discovered a passion for the art of hair cutting, sparking a dream to become a barber. Fueled by this early fascination, he pursued his aspirations with unwavering determination. Finally, after years of dedication and hard work, Johnathan is now living his dream as a skilled barber, turning his childhood passion into a fulfilling and successful career.
RABITA | APPRENTICE STYLIST
Rabita is a rising Apprentice Stylist coming to us from her native country of Nepal. Rabita spent over 17 years doing hair, makeup, threading, and henna in Nepal and is now working on obtaining her license here in the USA. She is already taking clients for select services such as wash and styles, perms, straightening treatments, highlights, cuts, threading, and henna. Rabita is excited to be on this career path and loves working with all of our clients while she is also assisting our owner Eileen. As she learns English and meets our clients, we have had nothing but gratitude and smiles from our customers that she has worked with. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
LUCIEN | APPRENTICE STYLIST
Lucien graduated in 2016 with their diploma and cosmetology license, worked in a few salons and a barber shop in Missouri and Illinois. They moved here to be closer to the mountains for hiking and swimming, maybe even some paragliding! He hopes to achieve their dreams being a barber here in Colorado as well! He enjoys doing funky colors, gender affirming styles and more!
JARED | APPRENTICE STYLIST
Jared, our young and vibrant apprentice stylist who's already making waves in the world of hair and beauty. Born and raised in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, Jared has a deep appreciation for the beauty around him, which is reflected in his passion for creating stunning hair transformations. Though he may be just 17, Jared's commitment to the art of hairstyling is beyond his years. He's not just any ordinary teenager - he's an aspiring artist with a unique flair for making people look and feel their best. Outside the salon, Jared has a few other passions that keep him inspired and creative. He's an avid movie and TV show enthusiast When he's not styling hair, you might find him hanging out with friends, embarking on long drives, or exploring the stunning trails of Colorado on a hike. He's the young apprentice with a heart full of enthusiasm and a head full of ideas, ready to bring your hair dreams to life.
DESIRAE | INTERN
Desirae has been fascinated with hair ever since she was little and can't wait to pursue her dreams. She wants to make people feel good about themselves by using her skills in the salon chair. Making people happy drives her happiness. Des loves to be on top of everything and always loves to learn more about her clients. It’s important that they feel valued.
She always tried her hardest in school and it’s been an important lesson in her career about always giving 100%. Des loves to try and step out of her comfort zone and is always willing to go the extra mile.
Des likes to try new things and has started skateboarding because she’s always looking to challenge herself. One thing she values the most is her family because they have always been there for her. She loves to do her makeup because it’s just another medium to show off her creativity and express herself.
