I’m running late to my appointment! What should I do?
Please call us at (720) 979-1341 if you’re running late. Keep in mind that late arrivals affect all other appointments for your stylist that day, so if you are more than 7 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you, though we will do our best!

Where are you located?
We are located near Pearl Street in the heart of Boulder, CO. Our address is 949 Walnut St., Suite A, Boulder, CO, 80302.

What are your hours?
We are open Tuesdays 9-3, Wednesday-Saturday 9-6, and we are closed Sunday & Monday.

Do I need a consultation before booking?
You do not need a consultation to schedule as a first time client, but we do ask that you call the salon to schedule so that we can determine what your perfect fit is regarding service and stylist.

How far in advance should I book?
It is always best to schedule as far in advance as possible. Our schedule fills up quickly and we want to make sure we’re able to accommodate you.

What’s the difference between an Express Haircut and a regular Haircut?
A regular Haircut includes a wash and style, while an Express does not. Call us at (720) 979-1341 if you’re not sure what would be best for you!

How should I prepare for my appointment?
Haircut: Come as you are and we will take care of the rest.
Curly Cut: Come with your beautiful natural curls.
Express Cut: Come with your hair clean and as straight as possible.
Color: Come with as little product in your hair as possible. If you use root touch-up color spray, skip it for your appointment.

How much will my service cost?
Pricing is dependent on the experience level of your stylist. When booking online, you will see the estimated price of your service after selecting a stylist. When booking in-person or over the phone, we will let you know the estimated price of your service up front. Cost estimates are a starting point, and your stylist will let you know if any changes need to be made based on your unique hair.

How long will my service take?
Service duration is dependent on your unique hair type and your stylist. Everyone’s hair is different, and we want to ensure you leave the salon feeling your absolute best. You will receive a time estimate for your service upon booking, whether in-person, over the phone, or online.

Do your stylists specialize in certain services or textures?
Here at Kantor & Company, we pride ourselves on our breadth of expertise. All of our stylists will do an excellent job with any hair type, but if you would like to ensure your stylist is perfect for you, please call us at (720) 979-1341 to chat!

You can always request a specific stylist when booking!

What color service should I book?
If you already know what you’re looking for, here are some color service options:
I want one all-over color: Roots to Ends
I just need to touch up my grown-out roots: Root Retouch
I want to be as blonde as possible: Full Highlight
I want to brighten, but I don’t need to be blonde all-over: Partial Highlight
I want vivid color, a unique pattern, or anything else out of the ordinary: Creative Color
If you're not quite sure what you’re looking for with your color, you can book an in-depth color consultation to discuss with a stylist. We would love to work with you to determine what is best for your hair journey and create a plan to give you the hair of your dreams.

How do I maintain my color?
Your stylist will work with you during your color appointment to ensure you know the best haircare practices to lengthen the life of your color.

What color lines do you use?
We use Wella, Kevin Murphy, Joico, and Pulp Riot. Your stylist will be happy to answer any questions you have about your color.

How do I know what to buy for my hair?
Your stylist is happy to work together to determine the best product for you.

What product lines do you carry?
We carry a wide selection of products to best suit your hair needs and your lifestyle, including Kevin Murphy, Joico, Curl Cult, Wella, Reuzel, Malibu, and Elements products.

Do you offer returns on retail items?
We do not accept returns on retail items due to sanitation regulations.

What is your cancellation policy?
We require a modest 48-hour notice to cancel. If less than 48-hours notice is given, 100% of the total service amount will be charged to your card on file.
Why?
Our stylists work on commission, and a last-minute cancellation is very difficult to fill, creating a financial burden. We want to ensure that our stylists can entrust their income on doing what they love, so this cancellation policy guarantees that they are protected.
I have a unique situation, can you make an exception?
We do not make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Even close friends of our owner, Eileen, are held to this policy. This is not personal, it is strictly business.

I am unhappy with my service. What do I do?
We stand by our work completely. If you have any issues with your service, please let us know within 72 hours for a complimentary correction. We do not offer refunds for any services.
