Here you will find the first initial steps to take to pursue a hairstyling career with Kantor & Company.  The goal of the apprenticeship program is to reduce the training time and barriers to entry into the hair styling industry.  The Kantor & Company Appreniceship Program wants to help people build a career, train them properly, and give them a job all at the same time!

Are you interested in becoming a registered apprentice?  Here are the steps you can expect to take to complete the process:

1. Fill out Interest Form below

2. Go to Kantor & Company CanvasMe page  to apply for an apprenticeship job.

3. Complete the initial interview (management will contact you to set up this time)

4. Fill out the Apprentice Admission Application (this will be given to you at the interview)

5. Once filled out, you'll receive either a formal acceptance or rejection into the program

6. Find a Mentor apprenticeship salon (if you are not using Kantor & Company)

7. Start the enrollment process, including documentation and the registration process

8. Start the apprenticeship program! The estimated time to complete the program will depend on previous experience and apprenticeship goals.  It can range from 6-18 months.

*If you are using a mentor that is not Kantor & Company, here are the steps for your Mentor to complete:

1. Fill out interest form online

2.  Mentor interview with our Management team

3.  We review all of the Mentorship Program documents at the interview

4. Identify apprenticeship candidates and complete the selection process with Kantor & Company

5.  Sign Mentorship agreement

6. Employ/mentor-apprentice in salon! The estimated time to complete the program will depend on apprentice's experience level and apprenticeship goals. It can range from 6-18 months.
